New Development Director for AAUP Foundation

The AAUP is delighted to welcome the AAUP Foundation’s first director of development, Edward D’Antoni. This new position will enable the Foundation to increase the impact of its charitable and educational work. The AAUP Foundation supports principles of academic freedom and the quality of higher education in a free and democratic society.

Drawing on twenty-five years of experience with nonprofit organizations, D’Antoni will play a lead role in developing and implementing a strategic plan for the Foundation. After beginning his career as an attorney, he transitioned to development roles at Loyola University in New Orleans and later at the Loyola School of Law, where he had received his undergraduate and graduate degrees. In 2006, he relocated to the Washington, DC, area, where he has managed development campaigns at Georgetown Preparatory School, the Archdiocese of Washington, and the Archdiocese of the Military.
