Guidebooks, Newsletters, and Brochures

The AAUP publishes a variety of guidebooks, newsletters, and brochures. Guidebooks, which cover such topics as salary equity, pregnancy discrimination, the Family and Medical Leave Act, navigating faculty appointments, and faculty handbooks as enforceable contracts, can be ordered from the AAUP store. AAUP members receive a discount.

Member Newsletters

AAUP members receive e-newsletters as a benefit of membership. If you are not receiving e-newsletters and would like to, please send us an e-mail, and let us know whether you are a member.

Brochures and Other Recruitment Materials

The AAUP offers most membership materials at no cost, and we encourage you to distribute these items to acquaint colleagues with the work of the AAUP. Please note that only the general membership brochure contains an application form. Order brochures through the AAUP store.

Access to Unemployment Insurance Benefits for Contingent Faculty offers advice for individual contingent faculty members as well as a discussion of strategies for changing policies regarding access to unemployment benefits.
